Build in Rise.
Reuse what works.

Here’s how the current workflow fits together.

01

Add a block.

Choose a RiseBento block while authoring in Rise. Add your content and adjust its appearance.

02

Save the design.

Save a design as a local template, then change its content for the next lesson.

03

Review updates.

Review changes before updating linked blocks, or keep a fixed version when a course needs to stay as it is.

04

Prepare the export.

The current workflow adds a processing step after you export from Rise. Use the companion tool to prepare the Web or SCORM package, then test it before sharing.

Good questions.
Clear answers.

What is RiseBento?

RiseBento is a Chrome extension in development for people who build courses in Articulate Rise 360. It adds custom blocks, reusable local templates and design controls to your authoring workflow. You’ll need your own access to Rise 360 to use the extension.

Who is it for?

Instructional designers, e-learning developers and training teams who already build in Rise 360 and want more options for interactions, layouts and styling.

Can I install it yet?

Not yet. There’s no public Chrome Web Store release at the moment. You can try the three website demos here without installing anything.

Do I need to know how to code?

The block editors let you change content and styling through their controls. If you want to build a custom HTML interaction or add custom CSS, you’ll need to write or supply that code.

Will the demos change my Rise courses?

No. These demos run on this website and do not connect to Rise. If you save a reflection note, it stays in this browser unless you download a copy.

Do learners need the extension?

No. Authors use the extension; learners open the exported course. In the current workflow, you need to process the Rise export with the companion tool first, then test the finished package in your LMS or web hosting environment.

Can I publish straight from Rise?

The current RiseBento workflow needs an extra processing step after exporting a Web or SCORM ZIP from Rise. Direct publishing with RiseBento blocks is still in development.

Is RiseBento made by Articulate?

No. RiseBento is independently developed. It works with Rise 360, which is a separate Articulate product.
